Terms of Use

These terms apply to DocSetu (the "App"), made by TorqueTrail, Ambad-Trimurti link road, Nashik 422010, Maharashtra, India. By installing or using the App you agree to them, and to the Google Play Terms of Service, which govern how you get the App.

1. Using the App

When you buy the App on Google Play, we give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use it on devices signed in to the same Google account, including for your business. Please don't copy, modify, reverse engineer, resell or redistribute the App.

2. Price, payment and refunds

• The App is a one-time purchase. The price is shown on its Google Play listing and may differ by country.
• Google Play takes the payment. We never see your card, UPI or bank details, and Google Play's terms apply to the purchase.
• Refunds are handled by Google Play under its refund policy: you can usually request one through Google Play shortly after buying. If something's wrong with the App, write to us first and we'll try to fix it.
• Your purchase is tied to your Google account, so you can reinstall the App on your other Android devices at no extra cost. Future updates are included.

3. Your documents and content

Everything you create or open in the App is yours, and it stays on your phone. You are responsible for having the right to edit, sign, merge, scan or redact the documents you work on, and for keeping your own copies. Because we never receive your files, we cannot recover them if they are deleted or your phone is lost.

4. Invoices, letters and signatures

• The App lays out invoices and letters from the details you enter. You are responsible for their accuracy, including GSTINs, HSN/SAC codes, tax rates, place of supply, amounts and the wording of any letter, and for meeting your obligations under the GST law and other laws that apply to you.
• Tax calculations, amount-in-words and the CGST/SGST or IGST split are provided to help you and are based on your inputs. They are not tax, accounting or legal advice. Check important documents before you issue them.
• Authorization letter templates are general-purpose wording. Some banks and offices require their own format; edit the text as needed.
• Signatures and stamps placed with the App are images. They are not certified digital signatures under the Information Technology Act, 2000. Only sign documents you are authorised to sign.

5. Redaction, OCR and compression

Redaction removes the content under each box by redrawing those pages, and Auto-find suggests boxes using text recognition, which can miss things. Review every page before you share a redacted file. Text recognition and compression are best-effort: recognised text may contain errors, and compression lowers image quality.

6. Ownership

The App's name, icon, design and code belong to TorqueTrail. "Google Play" and the Google Play logo are trademarks of Google LLC. Other names, such as GST and UPI, belong to their respective owners and are used only to describe what the App does.

7. Updates and availability

We may update or change the App, and may stop selling it to new buyers. If we do, the App you bought keeps working on your devices, and because your data lives on your phone, documents you have saved are unaffected.

8. Disclaimer and liability

The App is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free or suitable for any particular purpose, and we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, including losses from documents created, edited or redacted with the App. Our total liability for any claim relating to the App is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that can't be excluded.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, with exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Nashik, Maharashtra, subject to any mandatory consumer rights in your country of residence.
